Our vision statement for youth is this: We want to offer youth a spiritual home––one they can have for all their lives. Our hope is that youth at All Souls have a safe space set aside for them, a place where they can practice a life of faith, and a path to discover the Christian way. We envision a community where youth and adults (who are not their parents) grow together in their understanding of God, the world, the church, and themselves.

All Souls Middle and High School Youth Group is made of 6th through 12th graders from schools all over the East Bay. We meet every Sunday evening from 7:00-8:30pm to explore our faith, to wrestle with current issues, and to play together. We gather as a whole group to start and then break into our respective Middle or High School groups.

Every summer we spend a week together in service. In recent years we have gone to South Dakota, New York, Healdsburg, San Diego, New Mexico, New Orleans, and Los Angeles, and Washington States to serve in many different ways. This summer, we will be traveling to Los Angeles with youth from Christ Church Alameda for our High School Youth Immersion trip.

We also regularly have Confirmation Classes using the Confirm not Conform program to help our high school youth explore what they do and do not believe to be true and to then discern whether they want to be confirmed in the Episcopal Church. Our next cohort will begin in Fall 2022.
