SUMMARY:Interfaith Immigration Vigil
DESCRIPTION:Join us at the West County Detention Facility in Richmond for the monthly interfaith immigration vigil. We’ll gather with song\, prayer\, sacred story\, and make our presence known as loudly as we can for our sisters and brothers being detained. You can read more about the vigil here. Contact Margaret Sparks for carpooling information. \nDIRECTIONS \nTake your favorite route to I-80 E toward Vallejo-Sacramento \nDrive about seven miles to the Richmond Parkway/Fitzgerald Drive   Exit #20 \nTurn left onto Richmond Parkway. Stay in center lane crossing over the freeway in order to remain on the Parkway. Drive 1.4 miles \nTurn right onto Atlas Road. Drive .9 miles \nTurn left onto Giant Highway. \nYou will soon see the West County Detention Center – 5550 Giant Highway on your right \n(On the left is the Richmond Country Club!) \nLarge Parking lot. You will see group gathering outside entrance. \n  \nTo return to Berkeley: Retrace your trail (left onto Giant Highway\, Right onto Atlas Road\, left onto Richmond Parkway.) As you approach Highway I 80\, get into far left lane for I 80 West. Turn left onto approach and merge onto Freeway.
